Happy Sunday! During the 2022-2023 school year Bellevue Community Schools was awarded over $300,000 in grants. This money went to paying for interventions, assessments, security, and positions. With the grant money we have paid for better learning supplies. We have plans to improve our school security. Additionally, the grants will help fund positions to support student growth. We are proud of the hard work our staff has done and the thoughtful and intentional ways they have gone about thinking about how to spend grant funds to support student growth. We are already seeing the fruits of this intentionality with increases in test scores on the NWEA and improvement in our graduation rate. it is a great time to be a Bronco! Dr. Mark Superintendent

Meet Up and Eat Up starts today. For 2 weeks it will be at the Jr/Sr High. Breakfast is from 8-8:30 and Lunch is 12:00-12:30. Any child 18 and under is welcome to free Breakfast and lunch.(21& under with a disability). June 19 we will be at the Elementary building for the remainder of the Summer. Elementary times will be 8:10-8:40 for Breakfast and 12:10-12:40 for lunch. LUNCHES MUST BE EATEN ON SITE. I hope to see all the kids for lunch ths Summer.

Happy Tuesday, We are pleased to roll out 23-24 School Calendar. We are thrilled to announce an exciting change that you will notice starting next school year. We are introducing early release days on Wednesdays twice a month! Early release days have been proven to be a beneficial modification that helps schools enhance their overall performance. This change allows our dedicated educators to have extra time to reflect, strategize, and prepare to better support each student's individual needs, as well as the needs of the entire class. School will start at its normal time during these days and release around 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided to all students. Dr. Mark Superintendent

Come on down and enjoy solos performed by our Jr and Sr band students as well as snacks and punch while supporting the band program for a fundraiser at 4:30 on May 31st in the high school cafeteria. Donation to enter. 22nd annual Spring Finale will take place at 6 PM on May 31st in the high school competition gym for all Bellevue bands.

Exciting news, Bronco Families! Bellevue Community Schools has joined Olivet Direct! This wonderful program removes barriers for our students when considering college as an option. May 5th was Lunch Hero Day. We didn't have school so we celebrated today. I'm so proud of our team and I believe they are all Super Heroes. We fight Childhood Hunger one kid at a time.

Just a reminder that the Elementary BOGO Book Fair is open to the public May 3rd from 3-6pm. Make up shopping day for students is Thursday!

The ProtectMiChild Registry is a free program that helps keep kids safe from adult-oriented advertising on social media, text, and email. Parents can register their children's social media handles, phone numbers, and email addresses to block ads for products like alcohol, tobacco, pornography, and online gambling. Greeting Bronco nation! The Jr/ Sr high school will begin NWEA testing Monday 4/24/2023 to 4/28/2023. This test is very important because it is used to show that our students are learning and growing. It is equally important that students are present, rested and prepared to allow the best opportunity for them to be successful. We have developed a reward system for all students. A flyer that shows the system has been sent to your email. We are excited for the opportunity to show our Bronco Pride!! Go Broncos!!

The Broncos have alot of Breakfast options every day. On occasions evens the worlds greatest Breakfast pizza! It is so good.

Between April and May, students in school take three big tests: the MSTEP, SAT, and NWEA. The State of Michigan says we have to take the first two, and the last one is a test that helps us know how much students are learning. These tests help teachers and schools understand how well we’re helping students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Tests can be challenging, but there are things parents can do to help your child prepare. Make sure they attend school regularly, get enough sleep, and eat a healthy breakfast on test days. We know our students work hard every day in school. Please help students take these tests seriously. I am excited to celebrate our students successes! Go Broncos!
