Hello, Bellevue!
As native of Albion, Michigan I learned to value the advantages of growing up in a small town.
Family and community support were essential ingredients in molding my thoughts about who I wanted to become.
Sports were always a huge part of my life, coaches, mentors, and community leaders feed my ambition to do great things working with young people.
I spent some time as a college basketball player at Kalamazoo Valley and Western Michigan University before obtaining my Bachelor Degree at Spring Arbor University. I went on to achieve a Masters Degree in Education from Spring Arbor University and my K-12 Administrative certification at Eastern Michigan University.
I am came to Bellevue in 2017 with over 18 years of experience in a leadership position. I have served in other districts as a School Counselor, Alternative School Principal, Assistant Principal, Athletic Director and Dean of students.
I contribute any and all of my success to first, my faith, putting God first in my life always keeps me humble and grateful for every opportunity that I have to serve others. Family, my wife, children, parents, and other family members motivate me to be a better person, father, and leader. Last are my Core Beliefs, these are what I have adopted as my mindset in all that I do.
Humility, those who humble themselves will be exalted
Passion, don’t be lukewarm, commit to excellence
Unity, team first before individual thinking
Servant-hood, make those around you better, lead by example, lead by giving
Thankfulness, learn from your circumstances, embrace your circumstances
Intrinsic Learning, all people can learn, strive to be a lifelong learner
With this philosophy I am hoping to take being a Bronco to levels of greatness!!!
